the fastest one Defender Td5 110 (2001)
This is the model I bought after I sold the original Series 3. It was a Td5 powered LWB and a very good runner. Yet, there were too many electronical parts for my taste, engine control unit and everything. Not that I had any problems, but I just didn't feel comfortable with a sealed engine controlled by about a dozen or so sensors that could fail. So I finally sold it again after not even a year and got a present injected 300Tdi instead. It's a wonderful car and just as capable. |
